12:19 county radio received a call from a UGI worker on scene that there was a smell of wood burning in the house, does not see any smoke or fire. County then dispatched E59, E59-1, TW26, R26, TR27 and MSS75 to the scene. E59-1 arrived on scene and went into service with the imager and tarps. AC59 arrived on scene shortly there after and took over as command as E59-1 crew reported to command that there was no fire in the resident and
investigating farther, AC59 then in turn, reported to county radio, to hold the
response to E59-1, R59 and TW26 and recall all other units. After checking on the attached dwelling and making sure they were clear it was traced to a pile of mulch near the front door from a
discarded cigar. All apparatus picked up and returned to quarters at 13:16 hrs. |
